Appointment Information

Please consider the following information prior to scheduling a counseling session. Below you can find information on appointment rates, insurance details, payment options and cancellation policies. If any questions, please send an email to me at katie@catherinejohnsoncounseling.com

RATES

Rate increase starting in 2026:

$175 per 50 minute session

$ 190 per 50 minute family session (more than one person present in therapy room)

INSURANCE

I choose to be a Fee-for-Service provider for a number of reasons:

Accountability means we are responsible for your progress. Not some third party company seeking to maximize profit.

Privacy is protected and diagnosing issues are avoided.

No problems where the insurance company says it’s covered…and it’s not.

You may be able to use HSA funds or flex spending plans to pay for your services and also may be able to get out of network benefits. It is your responsibility to check on these options.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

I accept cash, check and all major credit cards as forms of payment.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you will be charged for the full rate of the session.
